The Walk to Support Cancer Patients is an event started by Samantha Weber to help local families receiving cancer treatment at Marshfield Clinic in Minocqua with medical bills that insurance does not cover.  As a cancer survivor herself, she saw just how much treatment can cost and wanted to start a walk to help.

The cost to put on the 5K (3.1 miles) walk, held once a year on the Three Eagles Trail in Eagle River, WI, is fully funded by local sponsors (seen below).  Therefore, the cost to attend the walk ($30/person), is 100% donated to Marshfield Clinic Angel funds.  Your donation comes with walk participation, a t-shirt, food, beverages, and a chance at some prizes donated by local businesses.

The walk starts at Andy's Pontoon Saloon in Eagle River where you will be shuttled to the Three Eagles Trailhead.  The walk concludes at Andy's Pontoon Saloon where there will be an after party with raffles, door prizes, and Wisconsin cold beer.  A dollar for every beer sold will be donated back to the cause!
